Brenda’s Meaty Baked Beans

These baked beans are made in a crockpot and can serve as a side dish or as a casserole. A big hit at potlucks and picnics!

1 lb. ground beef (or jazz it up with 1/2 lb. ground chicken & 1/2 lb  ground sausage)
1/4 cup chopped onion
3 cans pork 'n beans
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp mustard
1 small bottle ketchup
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp powdered onion
Dash worchestershire sauce

Brown the meat with the onion. Drain and add to crockpot. Empty the cans of pork 'n beans into the crockpot. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients together. Cook on low for 4 hours.

(Optional: instead of using the crockpot, you can bake this for an hour at 350 degrees.)
